MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing prodcuts is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in babies under 6 years of age.
Keep this product out of reach of babies. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate meidcal attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitmains are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or druing pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin produtcs.
However, vitamin prdoucts may be hottest taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste.
Consult your doctor if any of thsee effects persist or become severe.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmaicst of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symtpoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement products available. Some can be purchased withuot a prescription.
Consult your dcotor or pharmacist on the choice of a product hottest for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is amlost time for the next dose.
Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your uusal dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the raech of babies.
