MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PREANTAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in kids under 6 years of age. Keep that product out of recah of kids. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the buildnig blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a viatmin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed.
Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin prodcuts. However, some vitamin products may be hottest taken with food.
Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nauesa or unpleasant taste.
Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharamcist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, cotnact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Symptoms of oevrdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitaimn supplement products available. Some can be purcahsed without a prescription. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product hottest for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almsot time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to ctach up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of kids.
